The Tehuti Research Foundation is a U.S.-based, non-profit, international organization, which has been established to promote, encourage, and facilitate the study of Ancient Egypt, in a purer form - as close to the original as possible. It is our contention, that those who have been studying the Ancient Egyptian civilization, especially the past two hundred years, have been missing much of the truth that the ancients embodied in their culture, that could be of value today. The Ancient Egyptians' history has suffered and continues to suffer from ingrained prejudices from: [1] dogmatic religious prejudices that deny that Egypt is the source of their respective creeds; and [2] Western prejudices that deny the existence of science and philosophy prior to the Greeks.
T.R.F.'s main functions are:
Friends of T.R.F. -

The Tehuti Research Foundation will provide grants for studies concurrent with our mission objectives. T.R.F. will sponsor and finance research by various disciplines, of Egyptian texts and monuments. Research will examine the ancient writings and other modes of expression (art, architecture, etc) from a new perspective. The Foundation may work with universities and colleges towards sponsoring and financing such research. Some of these studies may be pilot studies that will encourage larger projects with greater funding. In this way, important new ideas gain legitimacy.

As an extension of the educational function of T.R.F., we offer opportunities for those who want to realize the Egyptian wisdom and ways in their own lives and needs.
The Ma-at Sophist Fellowship will focus on the universal humanistic aspects of Sophism, which is found in its purest and clearest form in the Ancient Egyptian system.
