I wish I had read your book Egyptian Rhythm before purchasing another music instrument! . . . Now I have a better understanding of why I always thought modern music theory seems so awkward and void of meaning for me. . . I look forward to reading additional volumes for a broader understanding of ancient and modern Egyptian (Baladi) music and cultural influences around the globe.

James N., California - 1 Feb 2004
I appreciate the fact that the author puts so much thought and energy into these issues.

Tessa, U.K. - 31 May 2003
I have just read Egyptian Mystics: Seekers of the Way and just wanted to say it's probably the most astounding book on this subject I've ever read. So many things that have puzzled me are now so clear. Is it possible that you can pass my sincere thanks to Moustafa Gadalla?

Darlene, Kansas - 5 Feb 2003
Thank you so much for your dedicated research and the untiring effort you have made to bring the great things of Egypt to view for some of us to see in all it's amazing glory once again!
As a small child growing up, learning the Bible Stories of Western Religion, we heard of the nasty Egyptians that kept the Hebrew Slaves 400 years....and all that.....NEVER ONCE did I go into any Christian Book Store anywhere and find these incredible things about Egypt! We have missed so much for so long. I am glad truth (Ma-at) is being returned to the earth by people like you. We have so much to learn about, and change in our own thinking!
My life has been changed, at depth, because of this new knowledge!

The Independent Review - 1/98 - Armidale, Australia, Media Resources
Gadalla has allowed history to speak for itself through physical evidence, historical documents and primary materials. His discoveries are hence fascinating and challenging. He has used Egypt to understand Egypt and by extension to re-evaluate the truth about early Biblical history...Gadalla uses primary sources, hieroglyphics and documents but does not ignore modern scholarship, both conventional and alternative...In his four published works he destroys many sacred cows, but also answers so many of the difficult questions that Egyptology ignores. Egypt is not simply a study of the past, it brings together theology, cosmology esotericism, history, archaeology and the origins of many different religions. Gadalla at the same time is an easy to read, pragmatic author. He writes in small sections, uses charts, points and illustrations so that all his published works are of value to both those with a cursory interest and the professional. Each is well produced, offers line illustrations on nearly every page and yet are economically priced.

The Ambassadors Magazine - 07/01 - Prof. Talaat I. Farag, Chief Editor, Canada
Gadalla succeeded to mix art, history, philosophy, science and theology into a palatable cocktail which is truly exceptional. His books look at figures, words, architecture, art, and symbols in a novel fashion.

Saxton Book Reviews - 10/96 - Jon Baughman
Gadalla uses his knowledge to explain in simple terms the Egyptian religion, culture, social life, the true role of the Pharaohs, architecture, metallurgy, science and mathematics, their accurate calendar, and many other facets of their culture. ...Again, all of his claims are supported by well-crafted reasoning and evidence.

Reviewer's Bookwatch - 10/96 - Diane Donovan
The author is a native Egyptian and independent Egyptologist who has spent decades studying Egyptian antiquities: this provides an unusual contrast to conventional Egyptian studies.

Midwest Book Review - 11/96 - Jim Cox
Gadalla's writing is controversial, articulate, and challenging.

M.B. - USA - 6/99
The author clearly presents the truth and evidence to support it.

C.F. - 7/99
It's great to find an Egyptian author who actually writes something different and logical for a change. Every other book I have previously read on Ancient Egypt all basically tell the same story…. All of [Gadalla's] facts and reasoning are logical.

Don G. - USA - Amazon.com - 10/98
[Gadalla] compiles information that only a scholar would have time to simplify. [His books] represent a distillation of thousands of pages (and hours) of reading into one small information packed volume.
